Daredevil singer AKON thrilled fans at a New Year's Eve (31Dec10) concert in Africa by crowd-surfing in a giant 'hamster ball'.

The Smack That hitmaker was ringing in 2011 with a free gig for 100,000 fans in Senegal when he climbed inside an enormous inflatable sphere.

He then rolled the ball into the audience and was held aloft by the crowd as he continued to perform, according to TMZ.com.
