Twiztid Album: “Mirror Mirror [PA]”

Twiztid Album: “Mirror Mirror [PA]”
Description :
Twiztid are a spinoff from the wildly successful Insane Clown Posse, and continue and expand on that collective's chosen genre of rap craziness and misogyny, with the accent on the latter. With more bitches and hoes on offer here than at a double booking of the Westminster Dog Show and a gardener's convention at Madison Square Garden, this crazy/scary duo won't rest until they've twisted your gross-out dial to eleven. There are overtones of gothic metal in "Reflection," and an attempt at social comment in "Through Your Eyez," but Twiztid work best on their familiar ground, which is a kind of Marilyn Manson/gangsta rap-lite amalgam that should blend well with raging adolescent hormones. "Dirty Lil Girl" is leering and lewd, but "Cnt," which you might expect to be more of the same, is actually a pretty savvy exposition of teen angst, hinting that there's some brains lurking behind Twiztid's gothic clown horror exterior.

- You don't understand the Dark Carnival ! ! ! !

Mirror Mirror is far beyond what most believe Psychopathic artist's are capable of.

There is alot of dark atmosphere and angry "Reflection" here most people are probably upset that there is little humor to be found on this release. Dirty lil Girl is the only song here intended for laugh's it's a cool song to listen to if you have a fight with your girl other than that it's not a standout track. I think this cd has more unique beats and lyrics than some of the more recent Twiztid releases, but I'm not doing this to hate.

I read some sorry reviews on this EP and felt the need to set "those of you that don't know (N never blow hydro)" straight. Madrox and Monoxide put alot into this small release and for a real Juggalo like myself there's alot to relate to here. Stand out tracks Reflections, The World, 4 those of U, Leff Field, CNT. If the songs that I mentioned don't do anything for you, you might wanna ask yourself what a Juggalo really is and if you think you can handle representin the Hatchet!!!

- If You Are A Juggalo Buy This!

I have to admit when I first got Mirror Mirror I was dissapointed that there were only 11 tracks. I was hoping it would have been another full length album like Freekshow but it was a short EP. I'm glad that this is short because it is so good that if there were more songs on it then it would have taken away from it. Mirror Mirror is a great CD for all juggalos because every song on here including the Intro Mirror is fresh. I can listen to the whole thing through without changing a song because every song on here kicks...Mirror Mirror is actually one of my favorite cd's. When I go anywhere in my car along with some great rap cd's (cuz i like rap too)is Mirror Mirror. If you are a real juggalo then buy this album because it is one of the better albums (up there with The Wraith or Great Milenko)and you can't forget the great songs on it. Some of my favorites include Reflection,Leff Feild,Dirty Lil Girl, and 4 Thoze Of U but all the other tracks are great too.

- I Expected Better

It's an ok cd, but I expected WAY better from Twiztid

- Some Great songs on this CD

I especially like "What's That!?" I definitely like some songs more that others. Some of their Alternative rock style songs where singin the whole song I'm not too into. But despite that the rest of the songs make it worth it. It has some real gritty dark soundin songs on it also, with really different soundin production. Any Twizted fan will enjoy it.

- A stand out

Man what a great album. It kinda seems weird to me why this album usually gets a bad rep. It still brings the twiztid effect but at a diferent frequency. Songs that stand out are The World, 4 thoze of U, Left field and I cant. Especially The world cause its got the best wicked music blend with its lyrics and I think the best song on the album. Oh yea and "Your the reason" too!

Peace out all juggaloes alive and passed!
