- Sudden Rapid Increase In The Bloodstream

Formally Tung Twista on debut album now simply goes by Twista for his sophomore release Adrenaline Rush with the signature rapid flow. "Intro" is almost conjure of the feelings and intensity put into this album. The title track featuring Young Buck of Psycho Drama is a good opposition of flows between the two as they share verses as stated in the beginning "...what happens when you combine the darkness with the light..?" This album was entirely produced by The Legendary Traxter and enhanced Twista's flow over songs such as "Death Before Dishonor" with lyrics such as "...with a paint brush / that a nigga can't trust..." The highlight of this album is hearing his flow over the slow, R&B tracks such as "It Feels So Good" and both versions of "Emotions". "Overdose" is actually the overall highlight of this LP as Twista had to be cut off with his overdub vocals with the same rapid fire flow. "Mobster's Anthem" featuring Speedknot Mobstaz is good crew song with the sample of Dr. Dre's "It's A G Thang". The thriller track on "Unsolved Mystery" is a song of fury where Twista took it to the street with murder and the opposite as he speaks on survival on "Korrupt World" featuring Side Effects of Psycho Drama. "Get It Wet" featuring Miss Kane is another mainstream song as he talks of getting close to the ladies. Hearing a variety of flows instead of the constant flow "No Remorse" featuring Speedknot Mobstaz, Link & Turtle ended this album with a high note. Twista's flow, lyrics and overall performance here is underestimated and is stronger than the later commercial / mainstream albums that recently had been released. Adrenaline Rush contains all the ingredients to make an album successful commercial hits, underground appeal, street songs, production and flow. All that is necessary for a good classic hip-hop / rap album is found here.

- Adrenaline Rush

Twista has risen above the rest with this album. No other rap artist can hang wit the furiously fast flows of this inhuman entertainer. The man was named Guiness Book of World Records fastest rapper. Failing to stop at quickness, the next best quality of his skillz is clarity. It totally blows my mind that he can rap so fast, and I can hear and understand every word he's saying. Dope lyrics mixed wit tight ass chorus's combine for your new favorite rap album. This is the first CD I've owned that i can listen to all the way through, and not get bored.

If you love rap music as much as I do, go buy this album a.s.a.p., you won't be disappointed.

- Twista's masterpiece

This album, released in 1997, is not his first. Actually he had an album, under the nickname Tung Twista a few years earlier - that album made some people pay attention to Twista style, but it wasn't a bug success... On "Adrenaline Rush" - it's a whole other story. This album came about an year after Twista made huge impression on Do Or Die's album "Picture This", where he totally ripped it on the 3 songs he appeared on (he completely stole the show on that album). Adrenaline Rush is a true classic, one of those albums that change the game, come out with a different sound. The world had heard Bone Thugs and Harmony even before that, but I think Twista has been doing this speed-rapping before that. Actually it doesn't really matter who STARTED it, the question is who is the BEST doing it. And here the answer is plain and simple - Twista. Tha boy is just amazing - he raps so fast, yet if you listen, you can understand every single word he's saying (unlike Bizzy Bone for example). The production is handled by The Legendary Traxter, and like on "Picture This" it's remarkable (even better than Picture This). The bass is very thick, some great keyboards all over. Some of the songs are pure gangsta sh**, while some of them are laid-back, with an R&B sound to them (yet they DON'T sound cheese or corny). The beats just fit Twista's style perfectly, and you can listen to it from beginning to the end without skipping a track. Too bad this album is so short, but hey - back in the days rappers didn't release 20+ tracks albums full of filler stuff like they do these days. The album is short, but perfect. The album went gold (I think), and if you want to hear Twista even before his nationwide success with his album "Kamikaze" you should listen to "Adrenaline Rush". Twista has been in the game for more than a decade, and I'm really happy he gets the recognition (and money) he deserves. Better late than never.

- Twista lost Traxster big down fall !!!!!!

Twista is labeled the fastest rapper of 97,but most likely he's still the fastest rapper alive.I love Twista's music, but Twista has lost something in late 98.He lost his original beat maker, the man that made the beats in Twista's albums is named Traxster,he's the one who brong the creepy and harcore beats.Traxster is still in business he has his own record label called "Cwal Mob Recordings".twista and his record label are excpeted to rop they're 3rd Legit Ballin album due out Feb,28th.Buy all Twista albums they're are all worth it.My favorie is Mobstability.
