That's fine, but why call it a Trick Daddy CD when its really a group effort? Anyways-aside from that the album is just okay. "Im a Thug", "Can't **** with the South", and "Pull Over (remix)" are all hot tracks..but the majority of the CD is just mediocre. Im not a Trick Daddy hater. In fact-I think www.thug.com is a brilliant album. This album just doesnt have the magic of previous Trick Daddy albums. But the album has already gone platinum so I guess im in the minority. Overall-If you like this album-thats cool, just make sure to pick up www.thug.com as well. 2 personas de un total de 2 encontraron útil la siguiente opinión: - BASICALLY A SLIP AND SLIDE COMPILATION Trick daddy dollars brings the hotness on this joint. But by the end of the cd you cant help but realize Trick took a back seat to his crew....its all good though cause most of them are dope in their own way.. i was just a little disappointed with the lack of trick daddy vocals.. his last 3 albums have been consistent...the production on this joint is hot.....overall i think its about a 4 1/2....add a little more of the MIA's main man and youd have a five........overall dope...best cut-Im a thug and pull over remix.....cop all of tricks albums... 1 personas de un total de 1 encontraron útil la siguiente opinión: - IT'S AN OK RAP CD AGAIN, THIS IS JUST AN AVERAGE CD. BUT, THAT DOESN'T STOP IT FROM HAVING SOME GOOD TRACKS ON IT. THE BEST SONGS ARE ''I'M A THUG'', ''N WORD'', ''SOMEBODY SHOULDA TOLD YA'', AND ''WHERE U FROM''. NOT THE GREATEST TRICK DADDY CD, BUT IT'S WORTH A LISTEN. 1 personas de un total de 1 encontraron útil la siguiente opinión: - Not the greatest I have all four Trick Daddy CD's and this one didn't meet up to my expectations for Trick. He usually lays it down fierce but some of the problems with this CD is that his back ground beats aren't all that tight, and he's got some no name artist on there who can't really rap. Trick makes up for it with his flows cuz he does have some tight lyrics. Three songs of the CD you can get from some where else so theres really not that many songs. On the up beat, if you have subs this CD does bump and there are a couple songs that are phat. If you just really like Trick Daddy, then swoop it up. If your a first time listener, I'd swoop up Book Of Thugs instead of Thugs are Us. Personally I fell into the hype and was a little disappointed when I got the CD. 2 personas de un total de 3 encontraron útil la siguiente opinión: - coulda been better trick daddy is a great artist. i love his southern drawl and his i don't give a.... attitude. his music has always been catchy, and that's why, to this day, i buy it. but "thugs r us" is definately at the bottom of the T double D list. songs like "i'm a thug", "where i'm from", "to all my ladies" were very catchy but the rest of the album was filled with too many no names and subpar beats. "the drought" was very dull, "n word" is repetively boring and "bricks and marijuana" sounded like a sean paul song. overall, i bought the cd based on the name, trick daddy, cuz he's one of my favorite rappers. but this is one of those albums killed by too many guests. anyway, i'll still keep buying the boy's albums cuz i know he can do better than this. slip n slide baby! |
