- Xzibit-style beats
When I first picked up this album, I played it about three times in a row. This group is da bomb! It's like putting christian lyrics onto an Xzibit cd (In fact, Tonic kinda sounds like Xzibit). The beats are rad, with the strange violin-like sounds in the background of some of the tracks. The lyrics are inventive and lift up God. The best tracks are:
1- Maze of the Madness
2-Playa Hater #1
3- Cypha' the Next Day
Overall, this cd rocks! And to make it better, it has 19 bangin' tracks! If you are a fan of any type of rap, this cd has got to be in your collection!

- Anoined Rappers Take Hip Hop to the next Level
I have been waiting for this album to drop for the longest time after borrowing it from my P.I.C. (parter in Christ) some time ago. I was surprised that It hadn't been released on Amazon when I tried to Purchase it, but when I learned that it was being re-released, I put it on order as soon as I could. These brothers have the lyrical skills that could easily overtake a number of secular rappers in any freestyle battle! In fact Cross Movement are the best Ive heard yet! If you have not heard Cross Movement before, you are in for a treat! These anointed M.C's deliver the word of God in an awesome lyrical flow that will have you begging for more! The beats are hot and could be compared to that of secular producer/rapper RZA. The whole reason I turned away from Rap was the negative message but with Cross Movement that problem is eliminated! I seriously recommend that you check out this CD! And May the Lord Bless You!

- Advocates Of The Theocratic Rule...
The Cross Movement stays true to the word of God without compromising the rhyme or the beat. All the lyricists have their own respecitve styles and they don't come off whack or too preachy. Too bad T.R.U. L.I.F.E. and Cruz Cordero got kicked out of the group. I hate to be biased, but I think Ambassador is better than any of the other guys hands down. He sounds like "the missing Wu Tang member". Listen to the Philadelphian/New Yorkian accent and you'll see what I mean. Excluding the group songs (two nice efforts, by the way), my top 5 solo songs are "Human Superstars", "Off The Hook", "Just 4 You", "The Rescue", and "Playa Hata #1".

- No More Spare Rituals
This album is God-breathed hiphop for a generation that has been raised on gangsta rap, parental advisory music. The CM group deliver the clear uncut gospel of the Anointed One of God without reservations or sugar-coated lyrics. Musically, the album's production is bar none...the hooks and riffs are on target. Noted songs of worth mentioning are "I Am That I Am", "Spare Rituals", "Playahata#1" This is the album that parents should buy for their hiphop starved children...that want music for their era. Let he who has ears to hear...jam to this.

- Pleasently surprised
I have to admit that after being into hip hop for more than 14 years, b-boyin', dj-in' and mc'n, I have rarely heard a "gospel" hip hop group represent cutting edge skills. Most of the time the brothas was coming off two or three years behind the current scene. So, I was skeptical when I checked the album House of Rep's. When I listened to it, though, it shocked me. These brothas have mad skills. They are at the top of the rap industry period. They have a very East Coast style with stripped down beats and an emphasis on hard hitting lyrical technique. This is not some wannabe, three years behind the industry, cookie-cutter album put out by the "christian music industry". These brothas is off the hook. I would challenge any MC's to match they skills with these brothas. There is no one who could out battle them. There are only a few who would be able to match them. That should tell you they abilities is definately not lacking. On top of this is the fact that there is no one out there right now who can match their lyrical content. They are precise with their doctrine and are deep with their meaning. I picked up the album so that I could peep and now I bump it in my Acura every chance I get. These brothas'll make you think while you vibe. And you know thats what hip hop is all about! Grace and Peace to all who read this. "the servant"
