Disco de Tech N9ne: “Killer [PA]”
Descripción (en inglés) :
KILLER is a tongue-in-cheek horrorcore masterpiece as Tech N9ne irreverently sways from slasher music to strip-club trap rap. The Kansas City lyricist takes just as many stylistic cues from Nelly as from Brotha Lynch Hung as he mercilessly sprays his signature automatic flow over 32 thorough tracks. Tech's main prerequisite for female companions is that they "eat their Wheaties," though he's candid enough to admit that no matter who he's out to dinner with, he'll probably "be staring at the waitress." Scarface, Ice Cube, Paul Wall, and Brother J of X-Clan are just a few of the guests along for the ride.

- Not Everready but still Tech N9ne

This album is def not Everready (IMO techs best album) but it is still a tech n9ne album and I think at his worst hes still better than 80% of the rappers that are out right now. Cant wait to see him perform this album live. So all in all great album just not his best.

- Everready Spoiled Me

After a couple of weeks with Killer in my car, I appreciate it a lot more than I did with my first listen through. I have to say, Killer is no Everready. Now it's simply my opinion, but I think that Everready is by far Tech's best album. Every single track from Everready was brilliant except for "Flash". With Killer, there are a small handful of tracks that I can't even listen to. I was anticipating an amazing two-disc album of all Killer, no filler. Yet, there are some tracks on here that are without question filler material. Which was not something that I was expecting from my man Tech N9ne.

The great songs on the album are as good as Tech's ever been. The last 5 tracks of Disc 2, wow! "One Good Time", "Hope for a Higher Power", wow! But, like I said there are a couple of really lame, uninspiring songs like "The Waitress" that make me press the skip button. The album is also very cluttered with guest appearances. Probably three times as many guest spots as any other Tech release. Some of the artists' very average flow sort of brings down a couple of songs. For example, on "Paint a Dark Picture"(a track that I love) the second verse from Liquid Assassin (who?) just f*cks up the middle of that song. If Tech just does that song alone it could be so much better.

Overall, the album is very good. Much better than any other rap you're going to buy in the year 2008. Been listening to it every day since July 1st and it keeps getting better. I just think that I was a bit spoiled by Everready, and I probably had my expectations set unreasonably high. Killer gets a 4 out of 5.

- Go for the Explicit version

I purchased the wrong item. I wanted the explicit version, and it is much better in my opinion. Still a great album.

- Overall Great Album

This is a must listen to album. And when you get 32 tracks for $9.99 why not give it a try? Tech N9ne has proven himself over and over again to be one of the greatest Lyricists/Rappers alive! This is a combination of years in the industry and life in general. Tech has always wore his emotions on his sleeves and thats what draws his most diehard fans and he doesn't disappoint here! So honest you'll feel like your in his shoes and living his life; his choice of lyrics leaves you no choice but to be drawn into his beautiful, tortured, wonderful, shattered and great life!

In other words, save two and half gallons of gasoline and pick this album up ASAP!!

- Tech's Killer is a freaking MASTERPIECE

I've listened to the CD for one month straight. I received a copy from Tech's publicist a month ago. The CD is amazing. It has everything you need in your Ipod. This is can't-miss music.
