Conciertos de Slum Village 2026

Soundwave Croatia, one of Europe’s most friendly and intimate festivals returns for it’s 7th year and announces the addition of a developed live art and film programme to its eclectic musical offering.

We are hugely proud to announce the final contribution to this year’s headline performances with one of Hip Hop’s very best – Jay Electronica alongside the likes of Slum Village, Mr Scruff, Mala, LTJ Bukem, Fatima and more. In a Soundwave first, street artists, mural artists and illustrators from across Croatia and the rest of Europe will be invited to transform the walls of apartments and buildings across the festival site into living, evolving pieces of art. We advise you to book early!

Slum Village werd in 1990 opgericht door T3, Baatin en J. Dilla. De liefde die ze delen voor hiphop bracht hun samen en ze werden al snel populair in de underground Detroit hiphopscene. Door hun album ‘Vol 1’ uit 1996 werden ze opgemerkt door A Tribe Called Quest waarvoor ze als support mee mochten touren en zo een naam voor zichzelf wisten op te bouwen. Slum Village kenmerkt zich door hun uitmuntende rappers en de lat van productionele excellentie die meestal afgeleid is van de legendarische producties van de wijlen J. Dilla.

Through the beat making genius of the late great J-Dilla, Slum Village are one of the most influential underground Hip-Hop groups of all time. Now reshaped due to tragic death of two original members they have continued to thrive and release incredible music including 2014’s ‘Vintage EP’.
