- Clean versions of classic tracks
The tracklisting on this CD has every Run-D.M.C. song you ever want but when I actually listened to the CD, I was distraught to discover that it was the clean, censored version. I tried to find an explicit uncensored version but alas it seems the good people at the label decided to only release it without the dirty words. Obviously, the music on this CD is classic but the fact that it blanks out the curses really irks me to no end.
- The Pioneers of Rap ...
What can be said about the pioneers of Rap .. RUN DMC? People forget that RUN DMC were largely responsible for bringing rap to commercial audiences and paved the way for many to follow - both good and bad. Not everyone likes rap. I say "rap" because I believe "hip-hop" is slightly different mostly due to the contents of lyrics. RUN DMC had hits like "Mary Mary" and "Walk This Way" both of which are included on both the CD & DVD - bringing light fun complared to the hardcore hip-hop like NWA. I cant say I was a huge fan of RUN DMC preferring the likes of the female rappers of the time (Salt-n-Pepa, Queen Latifah, Roxanne Shante and Monie Love) but I enjoyed this CD/DVD package. All the hits are here as well as a few tracks I was not aware of but it was a good buy especially due to the DVD.

- Doesnt hold up so well.
I was mostly dissapointed in the videos. The quality is a little questionable and there just arent that many videos or songs for that matter that hold up all these years later. Walk this way being the one big exception the video is hillarious and the song still rocks.
