Royce returns after 17 months with his 7th album, and another worthy of 4.5 stars, and possibly his best album of the 7. I'd say 4 of his 7 albums are 4.5 star worthy, 2 I'd give 4 stars and 1 I'd give 3.5 stars. There is not doubt that Royce is a very talented MC, and one of the most consistant out there, and his flow is unreal as well. On this one, you get 12 songs, 2 are ok, the other 10 are good, mostly real good songs, but no classic, just a bunch of real good songs. Guests are on 5 of the 12 songs. Production is very nice as well. Green Lantern does 4 songs, Carlos "6 July" Broady does 2 songs, Nottz, DJ Wich, Kon Artis, Black Milk, Pip, 9th Wonder all do 1 song. A must have album from a great lyricist.

Royce Da 5'9" did it again. His newest mix tape, The Album or also known as The Bar Exam 2, shows what this artist is all about. The mix tape's production was first class. Producers such as; DJ Green Lantern, Nottz, Kon Artist(Denaun Porter), and 6 July, put out amazing beats as usual. With the first track all the way to the last track, Royce poured out his heart for his listeners and his devoted fans. One of the greatest underground rap artist in the game today, Royce Da 5'9"s delivery and style is so complex and structured there's no reason not to like this man. If you liked his previous works, then this is the album for you.
