- Poop On This.

The dvd is fun to watch, but the audio is terrible. The cd is devoid of all fun.

- Historic concert, but poor audio quality. What happened to the source that was used for NATION OF MILLIONS TO HOLD US BACK???

This was such a great concert that snippets of it were included on PE's classic 2nd album IT TAKES A NATION OF MILLIONS TO HOLD US BACK. Those snippets sounded great on that album; just like a crystal clear soundboard recording. When I found out that this historic concert would be released in its entirety, I thought what a fantastic idea .... until I heard it. This concert release is not that same crystal clear soundboard recording, but an inferior recording that sounds like an audience recording. Trust me, I compared this concert release with those original snippets & the difference is truly night and day. I wonder what happened??? Were they not able to find or unable to use that great soundboard recording that was used for their 2nd album? OR Did they not want to shell out extra bucks to use it? OR Since that 2nd album was on Def Jam but PE have not been on Def Jam for quite some time, could that have something to do with it? Many more questions come to mind, but the main thing that sticks in my head is if they are going to release an audio concert, make sure the sound is up to snuff. If not, they should have only released this concert on DVD & not even have bothered releasing it on CD. What a shame & what a wasted opportunity!!! Instead of including all those remixes as bonus tracks, they should have spent the time acquiring and/or locating the original soundboard. And speaking of those remixes, the inclusion of MKLVFKWR & Do You Wanna Go Our Way is very out of place & screams out FILLER. They should have only included B-sides, instrumentals & remixes from the concert's time period (ie. their first 2 albums).
