- BACK TO THE ROOTS!!!!! BACK TO THE ROOTS!!!!!

The title of my review says it all. I bought this album very, very late. Actually the same day I bought "THE W" on it's release date. I wasn't even aware that they had a new album until I heard "FLAVOR FLAV" on the Howard Stern show. Anyway the whole album is bangin!!! If you are a PE fan and go out and buy this album you will notice that there not on DEF JAM recordings any more. But that doesn't mean that they're not the same PE from back in the day. In fact almost better. Track number 2 the one they have the video for is the best track on the whole CD. I never thought that PE could rap and keep up with a beat like that.(hear for yourself) Track number 3 "LSD" is also bangin and ironically addictive. Of course a PE album wouldn't be complete without a FLAVOR FLAV solo. 41:19 refers to that guy that got shot up by those NY cops. and "WHAT WHAT" is a great dance cut with an old school beat. If fact I actually e-mail CHUCK D himself and told him that that track was the--- (fill in the rest). Like the previous KILLARMY albums from 97 and 98 "POISON" was the best kept secret in 99. (hands down). Let me tell ya if you loved PE back in day and wondered why they fell off, wonder no more. THIS ALBUM WILL MAKE PUBLIC ENEMY FANS FEEL ALIVE AGAIN.
