Project Pat Album: “Crook by da Book: The Fed Story [Edited]”
Description :
Fans waiting four years since his last full-length can celebrate: the long lay-off, brushes with the law, and gangsta stardom have done nothing to soften Project Pat's Dirty South attack. CROOK BY DA BOOK: THE FED STORY ignores current electro rap trends by sticking to Hypnotize Minds trademark gritty production, and Project Pat remains one of the few rappers who can still convincingly rap about life in the projects even after boasting of a million-seller. The disc includes the infectious single "Good Googly Moogly," quite possibly the funniest phrase ever used to describe the female posterior.

- ALL BOW DOWN TO THE CROOK................HE'S HAS RETURNED

Project Pat does it again.........matter of fact DJ Paul and Juicy does it again. First and for most I like to Thank the Super Producers for staying true with their music. After becoming Oscar winners Juicy J said in an interview that this award may open alot more doors for them but it will not change the way they do THEIR music. I wasn't sure after hearing that they were producing songs for Paris Hilton and Justin Timberlake but this ablum reassures everyone that these guy are 15 years strong without losing a step. Project Pat last left us before the mixtape with Layin the Smackdown. Which for me, towards the end it felt like the song were forced out songs because of Pat going to jail. On this one he tells with is his second track that he is not going back to jail and is picking up where he left off. Project Pat is unique and flawless. It will take forever for me to disect every track on Pat's unique versatility (sorry Koopsta Knicca but until you stop using ryhmes you said when you was part of the "6" and putting them out as new songs, you will never be as versatile as Pat or Lord Infamous) and how come Paul and Juicy are so consistant with there production to show the hip hop/rap world that snap music is not what the real south is all about. This album is gritty and a must have for your collection.

- He didn't get rusty in jail

Project Pat has always been been one of the best rappers from Memphis and he continues to deliver hardcore, violent, and grimy rap. Southern hip hop has been getting bad rap due to clowns like the Yin Yang Twins and Dem Franchize Boyz. However the rise in "Trap Music" and the Hypnotize Minds camp have fortunitely been able to keep the southern scene from going down the drain. This album is hardcore not about hoes, rims, and jewelry. This barely missed my top 10 for last year.

- ABSOLUTELY AMAZING

If I could make this 10 stars I would. This is probably the greatest album from not only Pat but from: Project Pat, DJ Paul & Juicy J, and Hypnotize Minds altogether. This is a must buy without a doubt. THERE IS NOT ONE TRACK ON HERE YOU CANNOT BUMP. A CLASSIC FROM START TO FINISH!!! The guest appearances are hot, the beats are hot, the lyrics are fiyah, the entire album will leave a Project Pat fan dead in his tracks. And for yall Paul & J Outro fans with all the yellin and crazyiness like on Most Known Unknown...its got that too :D. Its a crime not to buy this rec. So go out there and cop Pat's best masterpiece yet after not puttin out a rec for 4 years!!! And lets just hope he keeps his promise with track 2 and doesnt go back to jail lol.

- Damn right!!!

We love it, we love it alot!!! Tracks 2, 4, 10 and a few others. This guy can flow and the hooks are pretty good. I love Three 6 Mafia but Pat is better. Three 6 Mafia should be Juicy J, Lord Infamous and Pat. Heck, after listening to this CD and the old ones, I wished to be a rapper. Out!

- Maybe the last of classic Project.

Sigh, where are the real Project pat fans. Here are the best songs in order. None of those bs Juicy J pop singles. Classic project pat songs that have a ghetty green, mista dont play feel. This is a must add to the collection of Pats cd's. You can hear the pop feel starting to seep its way in on the singles, so this might be the last classic Pat CD were gonna get.
