RUISROCK-FESTIVAALI JUHLITAAN 3.-5.7.2015 TURUSSA RUISSALON KANSANPUISTOSSA. VIIKONLOPUN AIKANA RUISROCKIN LAVOILLA NÄHDÄÄN YHTEENSÄ NOIN 60 ARTISTIA JA ESIINTYJÄÄ.

Lavoille nousee kiinnostavia ulkomaisia tähtiä sekä kotimaan ykköskaartia, nousevia nimiä unohtamatta. Tärkeä osa Ruisrock-elämystä on myös Suomen festarikesän parhaimmistoon kuuluva ruoka- ja juomatarjonta sekä viime vuosilta tuttu värikäs alueohjelma.

45-vuotias Ruisrock on Suomen vanhin ja Euroopan toiseksi vanhin yhtäjaksoisesti järjestetty rockfestivaali. Nykymuotoinen Ruisrock teki vuonna 2014 uuden yleisöennätyksen, kun kolmen päivän aikana festivaalivieraita oli Ruissalossa yhteensä 93 000. Perjantai ja lauantai olivat loppuunmyytyjä 35 000 yleisöillään, sunnuntaina juhlijoita oli 23 000.

Ruisrockille ojennettiin Vuoden festivaali -palkinto ja festivaalin promoottorille Mikko Niemelälle Vuoden promoottori -palkinto Industry Awards Gaalassa. Palkinnon saajista päättivät äänestyksellä Musiikki & Media -tapahtumaan osallistuneet yli 700 alan ammattilaista. Yleisön toimesta mm. Soundin ja Rumban lukijaäänestyksissä Ruisrock äänestettiin vuoden 2014 parhaaksi festivaaliksi.

Singer-songwriter, rapper, record producer, philanthropist and fashion designer Pharrell Williams makes his debut concert as a solo artist in Singapore at the Padang Stage on 18 September. Throughout his career, Williams has a string of accolades to his name including seven Grammys, two BBC Music awards and two BET awards.

Returning to headline at the Padang Stage on 19 September, American three-time Grammy award winner Maroon 5 is no stranger to the Formula One™ night race, having performed to a 50,000 strong crowd at the Padang in 2012. With more than 17 million albums sold worldwide, the band set a record for the most #1 hits by a group in the US Top 40 chart’s 20-year history.

Multiple award-winning rock band Bon Jovi will perform the post-race concert at the Padang Stage on Sunday, 20 September.
