Paul Wall Album: “Get Money Stay True: Swishahouse Chopped Up Remix”
Description :
Personnel: Paul Wall (rap vocals).

Additional personnel: Crys Wall, Jon B. (vocals); Expensive Taste, E-Class, Freeway, Jermaine Dupri, Lil KeKe, Snoop Dogg, Trina, Yung Redd, Juelz Santana (rap vocals).

After the huge success of his 2005 major label debut, THE PEOPLE'S CHAMP, would Paul Wall make good on what the title of his follow-up promises? While it's true that the legendary Houston rapper and industry player has made room for a wide range of big-name guest stars (with Dirty South favorites sharing air time with both east- and west-coast representatives), he's still working the same proven system: heavy low-end bass tracks crossed with drawn-out and slurred southern rhyme schemes.

A major part of Wall's staying true lies in his ability to get all the artists on the varied guest list (including Yung Redd, Lil Keke, E Class, Freeway Jon B, KLC, Juelz Santana, and Snoop Dogg) to find their place within his distinct H-Town format. Aside from the Jermaine Dupri-produced crossover club banger "I Throwed," much of GET MONEY, STAY TRUE's beats come courtesy of Houston mainstay Mr. Lee, proving that Wall might travel the country to get his money, but he's always coming home for the truth.

- Great CD
This is really a great CD. There are so many songs that are great to listen to, and I love the fact that he doesn't just do hard songs; he has a lotta great slow ones too, that aren't too mushy either. I wish I could give it 4.5 starts, but it's not an option.
- screwed and chopped sounds better
this cd is bada** its paul walls best!!! if you love screwed and chopped music like i do, then this cd is for you. i got both versions the original one and this one. this one is my favorite. MICHAEL 5000 WATTS does a great job choppin this one up like he always does. buy this cd and buy the original one too. great cd.

- Worth the wait!
Paul Wall may not be the best lyricist in the world, but that hardly matters in this CD. The Production is off the chain. I don't even know where to start. Of course there's the usual whip talk, candy paint, etc. But I still love it, I don't even care. Not to mention, Paul Wall doesn't curse that much which is refreshing. He's not talking bad about women or anything like that. I just love, love, love this CD! The standout track on this CD has to be Bangin' Screw. Just..listen. You'll see for yourself why this CD was worth the wait. All other Southern MC's need to pay heed to this. This is how it's done.

- its cool
Didnt buy his previous CD. But after listening to Get Money and seeing him in concert over here. I might go back and cop "People's Champ" in the future. I have a few songs that i like on the cd including:
"Everybody Know Me" feat Snoop Dogg
"I'm Throwed" feat JD
"On The Grind" feat Freeway & Crys Wall
"That Fire" feat Trina
"I'm Real, What Are You?" feat Juelz Santana
a few more listens might be in order, but still feeling the cd overall. I've heard a lot of other rap cds and more than a few of them were straight garbage. "Get Money" is a pretty cool cd with a few bumps along the way, but that's about it.
