Disco de Obie Trice: “Cheers [Edited]”
Descripción (en inglés) :
Personnel includes: Obie Trice, Eminem, Nate Dogg, Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, Kon Artis, Busta Rhymes, D-12, Timabaland (rap vocals); Coco (vocals); Steve King, Fredwreck, Jeff Bass (guitar); Luis Resto (keyboards, bass); Mike Elizondo (keyboards); Mike Dinkins (bass).
Producers include: Eminem, Timbaland, Dr. Dre, Mike Elizondo, Steve King.
Matching the success of 50 Cent's GET RICH OR DIE TRYIN' might seem a formidable task, but with CHEERS, Obie Trice more than rises to the challenge. The latest release from Eminem's Shady Records, CHEERS is bursting with musical and lyrical innovation. The Detroit MC declares his manifesto in the very first song, "Average Man," which speaks for itself; for Trice, his everyday quest to leave the streets behind and become a successful MC is drama enough. Eminem produces a majority of the album's tracks, which provide hauntingly melodic backgrounds for Trice's grounded lyrical content. Then there's Dr. Dre, who contributes four songs (two of which include Nate Dogg, "The Set Up" and "Look In My Eyes), and steps to the mic on "S*** Hits the Fan." Timbaland, Busta Rhymes, and D-12 also make appearances, giving the album even more star power--but CHEERS remains Obie Trice's show.

- Real Name, No Gimmicks!!

Man this CD is one of the best in 2003! It has impressive lyrics, since he and Eminem wrote most of them. The beats are off da chain, off da hook, whatever, they're great. Plenty of guest appearences, mostly by Eminem of course, and i Have to say this album is way better than Get Rich Or Die Tryin, by a long shot! I'll rate the songs:

Average Man: A good start, way better than an intro. 4/5

Cheers: It's great with nice lyrics too. 4/5

Got Some Teeth: After you hear the rest of the CD, this sucks.3/5

Lady: Excellent! definatly a standout wit Em too! 5/5

Don't Come Down: Excellent song about his mama, and he's saying he's sorry. 5/5

The Setup: I'd get the uncut version, this has way too many words cut out, but still, this is an amazing track.5/5

Bad Bi###: Great song! nice beat and lyrics too! 5/5

$### hits the Fan: Nice song, Even though it's dissing one of my favorite rappers Ja Rule, I still like this song. 5/5

Follow My Life: I usually skip this but still it's a nice song, with impressive lyrics. 4/5

We ALL Die One Day: Great but the chorus is annoying, cuz whichever gay- u..., I mean, G-Unit member is rapping the chorus his voice sucks. 5/5

Spread Yo S###: A great song, and I love the chorus. 4/5

Look In My Eyes: Nate Dogg can break it down just by singing the chorus, just like the setup! 4/5

Hands On You: Eminem is great with the chorus, but Trice is really good rapping. nice beat too. 5/5

Hoodrats: The beginning is so funny and it ain't even supposed to be...4/5

Oh!: Busta Rhymes don't bust rhymes but he sound awesome in the chorus and Trice again shows his lyrical skills. 5/5

Never Forget Ya: Don't listen too enuff...

Outro: Not really an outro, but a great song. 5/5

Overall, this is an A++ album. Go cop it now, if you haven't already, and listen to it. It's extremely great and is very underrated: I wonder how 50 Cent sucks but is better known than Trice, Trice is way better.

- Potential

Obie's pretty good, but nothing special. There are some good tracks on this album, the highlights being Don't Come Down, %#$& Hits The Fan, Never Forget Ya, and Oh! Obie's pretty good, but most of the succes of his album is because of Em and Dre. But if he comes out with another album, I'll buy it.

- Obie's Tight!

Excellent CD. Obie's debut album certainly wont be his last. Obie and Eminem work well together in this amazing, well written, and blended cd. My favorite songs are Got Some Teeth (Its one song I can listen to over and over and never get sick of, and Lady...nice beat) If you like 50 Cent, Murphy Lee, or Chingy, make sure to pick up this album ASAP!

Cheers is a great title for this undeserving annoying piece of trainwreck from whoelse the shady/aftermath factory

great beats, but there's nothing else bad songs, stupid plot

and poor writing

P.S. Ted Danson probably laughing at this right now.
