This Maxi-single may boast 8 tracks, but only the last two can reasonably be called "remixes".
The song "Teary Eyed" seems to have little to do with any of these so-called remixes. At most, they use a few random vocals from the song, but never more than a couple lines from the hook or ad-libs from the song's intro.
This is not a "maxi-single" per se; it is a collection of "Club Mixes" - club/dance/house music ("beats" and "dubs"). If into that sort of thing, it may be a nice collection of near-instrumental tracks, but this is not for anyone who wants to hear new/different versions of "Teary Eyed".

- Not all the mixes of "Lose Control", but a good start
considering Teary Eyed is the radio version here, it's not really the highlight for fans of Missy Elliott or club fans. The big deal are the remixes of "Lose Control"! Unforunately, the excellent Jacques Lu Cont edit is only 4 minutes. However, the not as good but still highly sought Hani mix comes in its full 8 minute and 44 second version! Collector's should get this import single while it's around. |
