- Great cd
One of Master P's best cds. This is the re-released 1997 version(the 1994 version is a little different, I'm still looking for it). Both versions are now out of print and hard to find. All the songs are tgiht, but my favorites on here are the title track, Robbery(which is a solo by C-Murder done in 1997 as a bonus track), Some Jack, No Limit Party, and 211. If you can find this, definitely pick it up!

this is the best master p cd i think. "study being a g" & "rev do wrong" is the best track`s on the cd.get the original 1994 version & listen how much better it is. both are must have.

- Who was this guy? and where is he at?
If this was the original cd I would give it 5 stars, I can't believe I'm saying this because this is the first album I heard and loved from P and it is also the last. The west coast flavor that defined P as an artist was left behind and abandoned. It's almost hard to believe this is the same rapper. Before the anoying Uhhhhhhhh! Before all the hype when p was underground this was the sh-t. It didn't take long for this underground tape to reach almost every(not neighbor but gangsta)hood in america. This album is a classic (The Original). This album was masterfully put together by the produceing. P's lyric's were powerful and 2pac like but original in his own style, the sure sign of a emerging superstargangster rapper. But to hear him now u wouldn't belive it's the same rapper. The west coast style has been dropped for the down south style. P changed his whole delivery and became the biggest thang in rap since 2pac, only because the south was craving attention. I'm my opinion this was the beganing of the end. P's lyrical style suffered the most and the lyrical content of his songs really started to deminish and sound very weak. The remake of this album, which is what u see here is a disgrace to west coast music and should have never been made. The original could be played straight threw. Because of contracts disputes with other rappers that worked for P on the original,
when he re released the album about 1/3 of it had been cut out and filled with new songs that in my opinion are very poor work compared to the original and cheap'n the album. To sum it up, it was a major let down to hear true rap greatness turn into true rap trash.

- Even though this is the 1997 version, it is still great.
I was completely surprised to see this cd sitting in a pawn shop. Of course like any smart man would I bought it. To this day I am still impressed with the way this cd sounds. The songs and productions are tight as hell. The album starts with the title track which has an unorthrodoxed hypnotic beat which is catchy. A young Silkk spits the last verse with such hunger it is unreal, the next track "Always Look A Man In His Eyes" is my favorite track which features No Limit heavyweights Mystikal, C-Murder, & Silkk (and a spoken introduction by Fiend)
Overall this cd is great, but if you can get your hands on the 1994 version (featuring former NL soldier King George) it is well worth every penny.
