- Not for your kids or your parents- but great stuff.
There are maybe one or two songs on this album I don't care for, however the rest are definately 5 stars. Very heavy, hard core music - you either totally hate her or you love her. Catchy songs that you will stay with you all day and while you sleep at night. She has a great sound, very original - with just a hint of the local flavor to it.
I never heard of La Mala before I stumbled across her other album on the I-tunes web site, I wonder how much of a following she has?

- Excellent Spanish hip hop album
This is a great album by La Mala. Love her voice but I could live without male rappers taking over in some songs. Una Raya en el Agua is a fantastic fusion of hip hop and flamenco and is my favourite track.
- La reina de hip hop trae la alevosía
I've been been a huge fan of Mala Rodríguez since before she had really made her mark in Spain's obscure hip hop scene and when this album first released I knew it was an almost perfect work with superb beats and meaningful lyrics, La Mala has definitely changed the face of Spanish hip hop and has raised the bar on what rap in Spanish should sound like.
Stand out tracks include La Niña, Fácil Cae Ligero, Jugadoras, Jugadores, Mamoneo, Una Raya en el Agua, Vengo Prepará, Amor y Respeto, Sobresalientes, and well, every track on this album is excellent. I've been listening to this album for 6 years and it never really gets old.
Even if you don't speak Spanish the beats alone are worth listening to.

- "A great fusion of raggaeton, hip-hop, jazz, and flemeco"
This cd is very unique, La Mala has a highy appealing, and exremely rhythmic vocie, although her rhythm is more like that of a jazz singer. Her vocie is flemenco style, and the guitar work on the cd features flemeco and jazz style(think Wes Montgomery). There is fusion of jazz, r&b, raggaeton, and hip hop. La Mala does not rap, she sings. Her vocie again is simply irrisistable. I cannot stand rap, but I love Mala, and the fact that it is all en castellano makes it all that much better. Te gusta Mala Rodriguez!
