Disco de KRS-One: “Meta-Historical”

Well i'm going to start by saying another great album by KRS. This doesn't disappoint and Lawrence's lyrics are on point, as usual. The production is done great by True Master, and the skits work perfectly in between tracks. It's very entertaining, but also very knowledgeable, but I mean come on it's a KRS album what do you expect? This album is strong from start to finish, no filler, and never once found myself skipping a track. This album just shows why KRS is considered the greatest of all time by me

Favorite track is "Palm & Fist" and favorite skit is "Naga". If you are going to check anything out at least listen to those two.

KRS-one never fails to drop a dope album. Very consistent with all of his albums, you are getting 1. a lesson, 2.dope lyrics, 3. dope styles, 4. nice production from True master. It was nice to hear some of the interludes, but the album probably could have been better if a few of the interludes were left out. All Kris fans will appreciate this and its also a decent place to start for those that are unfamiliar with Krs. Cop the album!

Meta Historical is the best album from KRS in the modern era....hands down. This is an instant classic for any and all hip hop heads around the world. Why isn't this the type of music on the radio? Why isn't this the type of music we see videos for? Meta is current, relavent, profound, thought provoking, inspirational, and the beats and lyrics are just plain DOPE!! This is an example of an authentic HIP HOP album by the best MC of all time....Knowledge Reigns Supreme Ova Nearly Everyone. I can think of a lot of so called hip hop artists that should be taking lessons from KRS. Let's see..Lil Wayne, JayZ, all those cracker jack box ass rappers from the Dirty South. As a matter of fact, they just need to retire because nothing they have done, or anything they will do can match up to the quality and substance of Meta Historical.

KRS-ONE!!! Big brother, keep doing your thang. I'll be a fan and follower for life.

What can I say man? I'm impressed by the staying power of KRS-ONE. And in a subliminal way, that's what KRS is about: in whatever you do in life, make it worth the effort NO MATTER what the outcome! He is no "platinum" artist, but his words are worth more than ounce of platinum. I won't even review the album, beat-wise and lyrically on point. I'm just motivated by the whole energy, and I hope you will too. And always be open to learn everyday...

I had to buy this album after I accidentally deleted it transferring music to my backup hard drive. It's that good. Ever since "I Got Next" - you really didn't know what you would get with KRS ... but ... this album is definitely for the pure hip-hop fan that loves lyrics, many styles (why Krs is the greatest), philosophy, dope beats ... THE REAL HIP-HOP IS OVA HERE!! No doubt. Definitely one of the best of 2010.
