Jurassic 5 heeft geen introductie nodig; de groep staat inmiddels al zo'n twintig jaar aan de top van de alternatieve Amerikaanse hiphop. Na een korte break in 2007 is de formatie sinds 2013 weer bij elkaar in volle glorie. Jurassic 5 is nu op tournee in zijn originele bezetting: Akil, Chali 2na, Zaakir aka Soup, Marc 7, dj Nu-Mark en dj Cut Chemist zullen hits als ‘Improvise’, ‘W.O.E.’, ‘What’s Golden’ en ‘Work It Out’ op het publiek afvuren.
