Personnel includes: Ja Rule (rap vocals); Christina Milian, Vita, 01, Tah Murdah, Black Child.
<p>Producers include: Lil' Rob, Tru Stylze, Irv Gotti, Da Mizza, Self for Self.
<p>"Put It On Me" was nominated for the 2002 Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance By A Duo Or Group.
<p>Ja Rule is destined for stardom. After selling over a million copies of his debut album VENNI VETTI VECCI on the strength of one hit single ("Holla Holla"), and landing a major role in a Coca Cola campaign, it's no surprise that his sophomore album RULE 3:36 followed so quickly on the former's heels.
<p>RULE 3:36 is as solid as Ja Rule's first release. Produced by Murder Inc., the tracks vary from pop-influenced R&B to hardcore rap, so there's a little something for everybody. "Between Me and You" and "Put it on Me" are lighter, summery-sounding jams that will put bodies on the dance floor, but Ja Rule proves he's also got the rhymes to hang with the big dogs, on songs such as "Love Me Hate Me" and "6 Feet Underground."

- Rule is back
Where has Ja Rule been? I have no clue, all I know is that Ja Rule is back better than ever. This young talented rapper is back up in the charts with his new and 2nd album "RULE 3:36." He has officialy set a record sale with most singles sold by a Def Jam artist. Everywhere I go and everyewhere I turn I keep on hearing about Ja Rule and this album. From the malls to my school. Friends been asking me did you see the video to ja rule. I would say yup hot video and off the hook song. If you thought the hit "Holla Holla" was good you haven't heard nothin yet.
Rule is exploding with his new smash hit "Between me and you," featuring the young and beautiful Christina Milian. This work of art by Ja Rule contains 16 hot songs. This cd is mostly just Rule and his partners and close friends murder Inc. but also appearences from uprising stars like Christina Milian, Jayo Felony, Lil Mo, Vita, Dave Bing, Tah Murdah, Black child and Shade Sheist. Some of the best songs(in my opinion) are Love Me, Hate Me, 6 feet under ground, Extasy and deffinately Between me and you.
... DON'T WAIT. This cd is absolutely worth it. If you thought his first album was good go out and get this one, its amazing. Make sure you add this album to your cd collection.

- Ja Rule Flashes His Style Again with His 2nd Major Album
Ja Rule hides the truth of the ghetto from no one. He loves to tell about his hard life back in his childhood. He expresses himself by letting out his anger in some of his songs, which is why a lot of people don't like rap. He also adds in a little more of a hip-hop style into this album with "Between Me and You." His dark side is what comes out in his Intro and "Watching Me" which follow each other up real well. Ja Rule loves to tell it how it is and if you can't handle it, don't buy it. But if u like other artists such as DMX, and the rest of the Ruff Ryders this is the best album out right now for you.

- An Average Attempt
Ja Rule sorta switches up his style for this one from the hardcore thug with no feelings to a a sentimental like artist.
This album doesnt measure up to Venni Vetti Vicci which was a pretty good debut cd. It does have its moments though like Between Me & You, Put It On me, 6 Feet underground, Love me hate me, and One of Us. Unfortunately the rest of the album falls into mediocrity. Mostly because of the production and he didnt venture out to find different producers so the non stand out cuts all sound the same. Even the songs with Vita, a good lyrical mc, fall short. Die is good for about the first three listens and then it gets really wack althoug it does have a good beat. F. you is wack the beat is not good at all and neither is the lyrics. The skits are meaningless. Extasy feat. Jayo Felony and others has no beat. It sounds like they just took a book and banged it on the table a couple times, looped it, and called it a beat. Not a good song.Even the Damizza produced joint falls short of anything good. I Cry is a decent song but radio made it obnoxius as they played it to the bones. Rule wont die was also a badd way to end the album. Dont make this album your first priority and see if you cna find it in the used section of the store.

- Ja Rule - Rule 3:36
Ja Rule's new cd "Rule 3:36" is great. All rap fans gotta have this in their collection. This has some of Ja Rule's greatest songs on it. He can never top the smash hit "Holla Holla" but Ja comes very close with this album. This cd is worth your money. Here is a brief summary on all the songs: "Watching Me" - 8/10 - This is a very good song. The only problem is its only 1:40. I wish it was longer but its still hot. "Between Me And You" - 10/10 - This is one of the best songs on this cd. Ja really shows skill on this cut. Its great you gotta check it out. "Put It On Me" - 9/10 - This song is tight. The only reason it got a nine is because this is the version without Lil' Mo. If you are getting the cd for that version pick up the "Fast And Furious" soundtrack. "6 Feet Underground" - 8/10 - This is a great Ja song. When I first heard this song I always skipped it. Then when I finally listened to it my only regret was I didnt check it out before. "Love Me, Hate Me" - 7/10 - This is a pretty good song. It's worth checkin out but its not a favorite. "Die" - 9/10 - This is a great song featuring Ja's clique "The Murderers" its definately one of "The Murderers" better songs. "**** You" - 10/10 - This is a tight song with a tight beat. Probaly my favorite cut. It also features "Vita". You gotta listen to this one. "Extasty" - 8/10 - This features "The Murderers" once again. This is a very good song. Its definately a club joint. You gotta listen to this one. "It's Your Life" - 7/10 - This isn't a favorite but its a good song. Its definately better than "Love Me, Hate Me". Its worth a listen. "I Cry" - 10/10 - This is another favorite. This is a great cut featuring Lil' Mo. You gotta hear this cut its great. "One Of Us" - 8/10 - This is a tight song with a catchy hook. Its like "Between Me And You" meets "6 Feet Underground". Its tight though. "The Rule Wont Die" - 7/10 - It starts off kinda slow but it picks up and its hot. Its short like 2:40 thats why its not a 10. Overall you gotta pick this up its a tight cd. And look out for "Pain Is Love" October 2nd. Ja's third project its gonna be hot!!!

- This cd is tight...
I just went to the mall yesterday and seen that Ja Rule's new cd was out and had to get..The songs are tight..I really haven't purchased any other rap CDs this year besides DMX, and Nelly, i have tired of the new rap talking souly about their new cars and money and hoes..but this cd is a refreshing scene from all of that it has that classic east coast sound mixed with the older gangster style..This cd is not a disapointment at all it is awesome. It is actually pretty much a solo album not a compilation of many artists like most rap albums out their today. Sure he has guest apperiences by artists like Vita, Tah Murder, Black Child, Dave Bing, 01 and Jayo Felony, but for the most part it is a single effort by Ja Rule. If you are going to get any of the new out comming rap cds this is one to get.
