- READ THIS B4 BUYING...DON'T WORRY NOTHING'S WRONG!

THIS IS NOT THE ORIGINAL CARINVAL OF CARNAGE, THIS ONE DOES NOT INCLUDE "NIGHT OF THE AXE" OR 'BLACKEN YOUR EYES'...THIS IS THE PUSS CENSORSHIP RE-ISSUE, SO KEEP THAT IN MIND. YOU MAY BE ABLE TO FIND THE ORIGINAL IF YOU SCROLL DOWN SOME, OTHERWISE THIS ALBUM KICKS HELLA ASS, FULL-FLAVORED OLD SCHOOL WITH ALL THE FUNKY BEATS AND WICKED CLOWNS THAT YOU WANT!

- The Dark Carnival Begins...

This album has simply the best intro there ever was for an album. Scary, misterious and unusual, the Dark Carnival begins, and those who listen to it, shall have their place in Shangri-La, and those who ignore what the Dark Carnival is saying, will sure have their spot in the deepest Hell's Pit.

This one has, along with Riddle Box, the best Joker's Card story. It tells about the ghetto and all the violence in it, and most people outside the ghetto don't care. But what if all this ghetto violence just got out of the ghetto and comes to your neighborhood? That's when everyone will witness the Carnival Of Carnage, a wicked carnival of freaks.

Even though the story and the intro are serious and scary, most part of the album is funny as hell. I mean it, I've never laughed so hard than in songs like The Juggla, and Never Had It Made.

Comparing this album to the lastest ICP works, you can see they were much more of a rap group, but you could see, since this beggining, they were different. This isn't probably the best album to start an ICP dollection if you don't mean to complete it at first (I'd suggest The Great Milenko for ICP rookies), but it's a must buy if you liked some of their other albums.

- Violent J and Shaggy2Dope start off with a wicked bang!

Although ICP had been around years before this disc was released,ICP formed around 1987(not 1992) with a few other members that quit before this came out. CARNIVAL OF CARNAGE (1993) is pure fun, urban entertainment. Sure it's a gimmick (Two rappers dressed as wicked clowns), but it's more than that. Real life issues are presented here, like growing up in a ghetto, being snubbed by yuppies, jail, and other tragedies that seem to only make them stronger. Very imaginative and original, something a lot of hip hop performers lack these days. Violent J does most of the rappin' on this one (like he does on the others but more so on this one) his psychotic, crude humor will leave you laughing or cringing(maybe both). "The Juggla" "Psychopathic" "Night of the Axe" and my favorite "Never Had It Made" are all gems. Great disc. Must Buy. Also Violent J was around 34 years old when this came out,(40 now) I guess your never too old to bust out funky, funky rhymes.

- The first joker's card and the start of 10 years of TERROR!

HEY JUGGALOS AND JUGGALETTES!

Carnival of Carnage is filled with rap songs and not one song is mixed with rock, which makes the Carnival of Carnage different from the other 5 joker cards. My favorite songs being Juggla, Psychopathic, and Red Neck Hoe. This is ICP's most old school album to date. A must have for all Juggalos and Juggalettes!

Stay down with the clown for life

Peace!

- Welcome to the Carnival

I say that "Your Rebel Flag" deserves a remix with a respectable non-racist metal band, but that's just me. Well, here we have ICP's first and most hardcore national release. This is a classic that you cannot deny. All you city-boys'll have a chuckle at "Redneck Hoe" without a doubt. If you're interested in the Insane Clown Posse and want to know their roots, then here is the album that started it all. Well, one of them.
