- Ice is back to the old OG we ALL loved!
Not since the O.G. and Home Invasion days has Ice come back hard and back to his gangsta rap roots. This CD is tight as hell, each track a true gem. Ice keepin' hittin' us with albums, I hate waiting 3 years per album now, but hearing "The 7th Deadly Sin", it was WELL worth the wait! Stay real Ice!

- Dope album
Wow, after four long years Ice hits us with the 7th. This album is just hardcore to the fullest. don't hate on this album, it kicks. Ice doesn't seem to have aged a day since Return Of The Real, and this album has some of his best work in years. songs like 'Don't Hate The Playa' and 'Alwayz Wanted Ta be A Ho' are some of my favourite Ice-T tunes ever. I recommend you get this album as soon as possible. Trust me, it won't dissapoint you!!!

- Solid
For me Ice-T is one of the best rappers ever and I've spent long hours listening to his hardcore gangster rap. Kind of odd for a middle-aged white guy but what can I say? His in your face, pro-freedom of speech attitude is one that I hold myself. He is one of the founding fathers of gangster rap and one of it's most innovative lyricists. I've seen Ice-T do his rap act only once but have seen him with his band Body Count four times and he puts on a tremendous show.
Seven Deadly Sins has a lot more edge to it than Ice-T's preceding album, Return of the Real. As a result it's a better effort and has some solid tunes. There's not as much of a mix to the beats though, which is a weakness, but you can play it through without skipping and be quite entertained.
Seven Deadly Sins scores a solid 3 stars:
Retaliation *
Common Sense *
Check Your Game*

Ratings: CDs are rated simply by how many good songs are on the album. Great songs get two stars, and good songs get one star. Songs that get no stars are those that I might like but not enough to give it a star or ones I find boring or actively dislike. CDs are not penalized for songs that I don't like because they are easy enough to skip over. There is no maximum number of stars a CD can get, but of course the more stars it gets, the better the CD.
As with all reviews, these are my subjective opinions on the album.
