- Ghostface Drops Another ill One
I dropped out of Hip Hop for a few years, came back due to Alchemist-1st Infantry and its been really rare i jock an album. Ghostface Fishcale was definitely one of them (best rap album of 2006). Now with this follow up "More Fish" picks up and accomplishes to quench my thirst, actually appetite for more Ghostface. This album doesnt disappoint one bit. I liked it so much, i went out and bought it today even after i already had a burned copy from a friend. Credit where credit is due. Thanks Ghost.

- Something stinks & its not the fish
Either there is something wrong me and the 70'000 people who actually bought this album or there is something's wrong with hip-hop today. I'm not talking about the music either. In my humble opinion this is one of the year's most entertaining hip-hop releases featuring all the elements that make a great albums i.e.
Good lyrics and a convincing delivery
Hot beats that borrow from R&B classics of the past without raping them
An underlying concept that holds the tracks together
For some reason however the buying public is not sold. Am I missing something? Maybe its cause I'm not from the U.S.Anyway, politics and BS aside this is another classic from Ghostface who hasn't missed a step since Bulletproof wallets (Including the mixtapes 718 & Put It On The Line).
The Theodore Unit has shrunk slightly since the last outing with only Trife (next in line), Sean Wigs & Sun God making significant appearances. The 4 have great chemistry as evidenced by the stellar "Miguel Sanchez" where Sun God builds nicely on the hot Trife verse. Ghost and Sun (pun intended) show and prove on "Street Opera" and Sean Wigs holds his own next to the master on "Pokerface"
MF Doom resurrects some old beats to perfection on "Gunz n' Razorz" and "Alex (Stolen Scripts)" over which Ghost weaves his stories in classic ghost fashion. The two joints are definite highlights of the project. Hi Tek also makes an appearance on "Josephine" a version that is slightly different from the one found on his own Hi Teknology. The rest of the production is handled by some new kid (at least I never heard of him) who handles himself like a vet around the boards.
Guest wise, three are real surprises, the first is Redman on "Greedy B****es", Amy Winehouse on "You No I'm No Good" and Kanye West on "Back Like That (Remix)". All three represent especially Kanye who does a take on an old Ghostface verse.
Overall the album is dope. Don't get it twisted, this is more fish NOT leftover fish

Indeed. This man is keeping WU in there! I love Sun Dog, ( the Gza and Masta Killa sons flow too, right?) He and Trife and great together! Ghost need to drop Josephine as a single, though. It has a nice balance ( my sister is wearing it out already) WUTANG FOR LIFE!

- MORE FISH
This album is flawless. Ghostface (like always) drops some ill visuals over outstanding production. His hunger for rippin the MIC is still very strong and even the guest artists show & prove. What I liked most about this LP is that it made me go back and listen to FISHSCALE again. (Not like I stopped) FISHSCALE has to be THE best LP's this year. More Fish just continues from the greatness of this years earlier release. HIP HOP HEADS THIS IS AN ESSENTIAL SO DON'T SLEEP--COP THEM BOTH!!! Peace!

- Ghost's second album of 06, is his best of 06
With Fishscale being released not more than 9 months ago, the hardest working ex-Wu Tang member is back with his 6th studio album. The album features several appearances from the members of Theodore Unit (Cappadonna, Shawn Wigs, Trife Da God and Ghostface's son Sun God), as well as from Redman, Sheek Louch, Killa Sin, Kanye West and singers Amy Winehouse, Eamon, Ne-Yo and Mr. Maygreen. Production credits include Hi-Tek, Madlib, MF DOOM, Xtreme and Ghostface himself. With credits like that it's easy to see why Ghost may have released an even stronger album than Fishscale. Fishscale had a lot of theatrics and skits associated with it, More Fish is just straight up hip hop with little to no filler. His gangsta rap tales with crazy metaphors have never sounded better than on More Fish.
