This is a must buy- this is a masterpiece of hip hop- there are more songs they could have added. It is incredible how many great songs they have produced. Anyone under twenty needs to get this to understand what hip hop was like in the late 80's and early 90's- they are one of the all time hip hop groups- you will not be disappointed!!!
I personally enjoyed the CD. Although this CD compilation didn't have the song "Lovesick", it had most of the other megahits such as the remix of "Words I Manifest", Dwyck '92, Mass Appeal, and the video version of "Jazz Thang"...and let's not forget "Just to Get A Rep". Any fan of Guru and DJ Premier will truly appreciate the double CD, whether the version is clean (which is what I possess) or explicit.
Many songs on this cd are classics. Guru & Premo come tight everywhere they go. This is a tight cd and i'd recommend it to everyone who appreciates REAL UNDERGROUND hip hop. There were only 6 songs on the whole cd that came out WHACK. All the rest of the songs are WORTH bumpin in your sound system at home, in a club, at a party, at a friends house, or in your car ofcourse. The 6 songs that shouldn't have even been released were 4 & 5 on the first disc and 4,7,11, & 15 on the 2nd disc. Other then those 6 tracks this is onea thee TIGHTEST cd out there. And for all y'all who don't know about Gang Starr.....Get To Knowin!! and peep this freakin cd out aaight? Peace. Much Love. :-D
