Disco de E-40: “Ball Street Journal [Clean]”

What a shame!!!

I loved 40's music since Mr.FlamboyantEP right up to Grit & Grind.

But when I hear his new stuff and see pansy's like T-Shame and Acorn jumping and yowling around him I can't belive it.

This Album sounds like the Muppet Show on Angel Dust and cut me to the quick. We're in Europe are more than disappointed.

If you're really Sick Wid it don't buy it.

theres SO MANY great songs on this album i dont see how an E-40 fan wouldnt like this. im on one, wake it up, 40 water, poor mans hydraulics, alcoholism, and pretty much every other song on here. the bass is hella bumping of course, the beats are tight (again of course), and 40's lyrics like always. this is just another great album by E-40. get wit it or get lost. plain and simple

I gotta say when I bought this album I thought it was good but a level below My Ghetto Report Card, his previous album that made the hyphy scene national and made the bay area get mainstream play. But after a while I got used to it and actually prefer it over his last album. Why? This cd is more balenced, it contains club songs, a mobb music track that is sure to please old skool fans, gangsta, funky and r&b plus those retrospective tracks. His last album only contained club and gangsta tracks which made it very monotone and got old quick. I gave it 4/5 for the very reason that he uses the exact same formula as last time and the opening track even sounds the same like "yay area". Though the beats are hard and knock in your car they sound outdated like from 2006, very hyphy but still worth listening to.
