{^Camel Bobsled Race}, {$Q-Bert's} megamix of {$DJ Shadow} music, isn't quite the masterpiece it oculd have been, yet it's hardly a disaster. Recorded live, with both DJs scratching, the mix essentially reconfigures the bulk of {^Endtroducing}, adding a couple of singles to the mix. There are layers of new samples and scratches, taken from everything from spoken-word records to jazz. The end result is intriguing and often entertaining, even if it doesn't offer any new revelations. {^Camel Bobsled Race} was released as a bonus disc on the U.S.-only singles and B-sides compilation {^Preemptive Strike}. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine, All Music Guide
