- Es ist wirklich geil!
I was an exchange student last year in Dresden,Germany and that is where I found out about this group. 4:99 is not their best cd, but it is still hella good. If you are not sure about buying it you should even if you do not speak German!

- Good, but not great.
I first heard "Die Fantastichen Vier" on their "Vier Gewinnt" album (because of their "Die Da" hit). "4:99" is much more ambitious, and incorporates a lot of other elements, such as the gospel choir in "Le Smou", but I much prefer their "Vier Gewinnt" album. "4:99" is nice background music, but is generally slower than "Vier Gewinnt". Obviously there's quite a lapse in years between "Vier Gewinnt" and "4:99", so I haven't kept up with their musical changes over the years. So maybe "4:99" wouldn't've been so disappointing if I had kept up. :) I'm on my way to CDNow and order their "Vier Gewinnt".
- Great Album
This is a great album. Excellent lyrics, great
production. It's been a favorite of mine since
I first heard MfG in 1999...If you speak German,
you need this cd. If you don't, you should buy
it with an open mind...listen to music from the
rest of the world that would be great here (if
we could play music that doesn't have to be in
English).
This album is great...hardly any low spots & the

- It's great
I'm from Germany myself and i live in the US, and i just want to say that this Album is the greatest. If you get this CD and you cant speak german, you'll definately have to get a dictionary because you just can miss these lyrics, they are very unique and just unbelievingly intelligent. You have got to get this CD.

- A work of art from the rulers of German Hip Hop
If you don't speak German, you will miss out on the witty lyrics and the humor, but hopefully you can still enjoy the sound of it. My favourites are "MfG" (also successful as a single) a song that consists of abreviations that are significant to modern Germany and "Michi Beck in Hell" a song about a band member's trip to hell, where you can even hear the devil rap. Also a nice surpise at the end of the album.
