- What?

I think people reviewed this too quick. After listening to this many times since its dropped, its just as good if not better than Del's first album. This is incredible. Smoke a beed to this, bump it load if you can. Album is really a banger if you ask me. Yeah its been 7 years but this album is much more cohesive than Both sides and really brings an album vibe like on No Need for Alarm. Love this album

- Del is a Hip-Hop genius

Just bought it LOVE it...drop the pretentious bs and just sit back, bob your head, and enjoy it...Great hip-hop is so rare these days, and Del is GREAT.

- i don't wanna hear excuses

man, i got Amplive's Rainydayz and Del's song on that is better than anything on his own release! the production on 11th is annoying at best and his lyrics are regurgitated from when his songs made my head nod. 11th hour has been a huge let down i would not have expected from one of my favorite artists. i know he's not gonna release the same thing every time, but he has always hit the nail on the head with his innovative sounds and keeping that funk going till now. either way, he needs some quality control before he releases any more of this nonsense.

- Give it some extra listens

Del is shifting gears in terms of his lyrical ability, and challenging himself in many ways that are not immediately visible until you hear this album at least 3-5 times. The hooks and phrases he is demonstrating here exhibit many complex patterning techniques which are truly exquisite.

The production may take you a minute too, but really that part should be easy to swallow. I don't know why people take issue with these beats.

PS: Ladybug Mecca rocks it on her guest spot.

Pay Del!

- Del's Def Jux gem!

I can't believe all the negative reviews posted here for this Superb hip hop joint. These people apparently want Del to totally reinvent himself every time he makes a new album. This album is not that different from Both sides. I mean if you have a winning formula than why change it. This is not typical rap, it's far from it. This is a hundred times better than 95 percent of all the other rap coming out these days. Del is witty, funny, appealing and his rhymes don't suck at all on this release. He's pretty much a living legend in hip hop music. I admit there a couple of weak tracks on this but beggars can't be choosers. Workin' it , Bubble pop, Raw sewage are a few of the highlights. If you liked Both sides you'll probably like this too.
