Disco de Dead Prez: “Live in San Francisco [PA]”

This is a 2-disc package, including an audio CD and a video DVD.

The front of the package reads "HD DVD", but this is a standard definition DVD.

The video on the DVD is widescreen, non-anamorphic. Quality: 3 out of 5.

The audio on the DVD gives "stereo" and "surround" options. The 5.1 surround mix sounds terrible. Quality: 1 out of 5. The stereo mix is PCM reference quality and is the highlight of the package. Quality: 5 out of 5.

The songlist is quite expansive and covers the most important Dead Prez material.

There is also a brief interview on the DVD w/ Dead Prez, but nothing as good as what was on their Starz InBlack special, "Bigger Than Hip Hop" (which was supposed to be released on DVD last year and never was).

For some reason no websites have much info on what's actually included on the disc, hope this helps.

This DVD is good, but HD? nope! Its just a normal view for me! Overall, the product is worth buying especially if you're a fan! The guys perform their classic tracks. The DVD also got bonus materials like interviews and behind-the-scenes. I was expecting the bonus CD to real tracks not live lol! thats my only disappointment.

If you love or respect Dead prez, buy the DVD!!!
