- Slap a smile on your face

First time I went to see this band (I've seen them 5 times now), I was prepared for some folks-y Irish fun.....songs about unicorns, etc. WRONG! One of the best live shows ever and I've been going to concerts since the mid 60's at the Fillmore. The Storm engages the crowd from the first tune. It's surprising to me that acoustic instruments and hand-played drums can generate such excitement. There's wild hilarity and bawdy fun, coupled with some absolutely transcendent jamming courtesy of Pete on the pipes and the amazing Ellery Kline on the fiddle. Go to see them in a small to mid-size venue. This DVD really does a good job of capturing the vibe. The only niggle would be I'd like to hear the fiddle come up in the audio mix a wee bit. Grab a six of Guiness and some Jameson's and have a party with this DVD.

- I was there at the concert

This show was a lot of fun. I had a great time, singing along most of the songs with them. Best of all, GS seemed to have a lot of fun playing to the crowd. I've been to many Gaelic Storm concerts and always find them full of spirit and fun. I can't wait to buy this.

- Garlic Storm

My violin teacher Bob used to tour with Gaelic Storm around 2004 time frame, and I first encountered this band at the Irish Festival in Pittsburgh, PA. They do make Irish Music so much fun, which is difficult to wrap ones head around as Irish Music is already so good and much of it so much fun. They go through fiddlers like toilet paper, and boy do they drink - but their outfit is great and the music so much fun to listen to!

- A Fun Gaelic Romp

Gaelic Storm-Live in Chicago was filmed at the House of Blues, a relatively small venue wherein the band could interact well with the audience and the audience in turn could feel truly part of the show. The music was lively, upbeat, and fun. The band members all had interesting stories to tell. It is a DVD that my wife and I will watch and enjoy many times.

- Definitely Worth Your Money

No, Eminem is not on this DVD, at the time they recorded this DVD he had just finished a stint in rehab & Proof even gives him a shoutout to get better.

1. Pistol Pistol

The intro to the concert each member comes out 1 by 1 to perform their verse. Kinda weak intro if you ask me.

2. Just Like U

Bizarre comes out last to perform one of his solo songs.

3. Loyalty

One of the best performances on the DVD.

4. D12 World

They get the crowd to "say a prayer" before the song (the skit on D12 World before this track). The prayer is lame, but the performance is alright.

5. Under The Influence

The crowd was really into this song.

6. Leave Dat Boy Alone

A solid performance but nothing memorable.

7. Pimp Like Me

They perform this song better on the Anger Management Tour with Green Lantern, but still alright here.

8. Gurls Wit Da Boom

Proof performs the lead single from his solo album.

9. Fight Music

Proof & Denaun interact with the crowd a little to much in my opinion, but once it starts, it's a pretty solid performance with Proof crowd surfing while performing his verse.

10. 40 Oz.

D12 & the crowd are all really hyped for this song with Proof throwing alcohol into the crowd.

11. Revelation

Another solid performance with Proof going into the crowd to perform his verse.

12. Rockstar

Bizarre performs the lead single from his solo album.

13. Purple Pills

Denaun sounds like he doesn't even wanna perform this song, but still an alright performance with Proof picking on Swifty while he was trying to perform his verse.

14. My Band

D12 closes the show with this song. After they leave the stage the crowd starts to boo, until they come out for the encore.

15. How Come

D12 comes back out for the encore. The crowd is crazy into this song even singing the hook.

16. Ghetto Music

A song from Bizarre's Hannicap Circus album. Special appearances by King Gordy & stic.man of Dead Prez

17. American Psycho II

D12 are joined by King Gordy to close the show out with a solid banger.

Overall this is a dope DVD every D12 fan should have, or anyone who doesn't mind that Eminem isn't there. Especially considering the price.
