Conciertos de Bun B 2025/2026

Southern rapper and national recording artist Bun B along with renowned Go-Go group The Backyard Band take center stage at the Howard Theatre on July 26th, 2015 at 10:30 pm for an epic concert sponsored by Life of Leisure™, Sirius El Inc., and D&T Entertainment. One lucky concert-goer will win complimentary beverage service through a social media contest courtesy of Life of Leisure™, by being one of the first 100 fans to follow Life of Leisure on Twitter (@1lifeofleisure) or retweet concert information.

Bun B, former member of UGK (Underground Kingz), has released four solo albums in the chart-topping Trill series. Trill, his first solo album release, peaked at the number 6 spot on Billboard Magazine's Billboard 200 chart and number 1 on the Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums chart. Bun B's second solo album, II Trill, debuted at number 2 on the Billboard 200, and subsequent albums Trill OG and Trill OG: The Epilogue featured artists such as 2 Chainz, Rick Ross , Gucci Mane, Drake, and Kirko Bangz. An active guest lecturer for Rice University's Religion and Hip Hop Culture course, Bun B has also made a name for himself among the foodie circles as the owner of You Gotta Eat This, known for featuring recipes from famous chefs and top-notch food photos.

DC's own The Backyard Band, known as the "Bad Boys of Go-Go", started meshing popular rap & hip hop songs with the traditional Go-Go beats in the 1990's. Their unique style gained traction and attention from some of the biggest names in rap & hip hop, and has led to features and performances with artists such as Drake, Wale ("Pretty Girls"), Juvenile, and Scarface.
