I didn't get into the 'Peas until earlier this year when I heard their latest singles off their album.
After hearing them, I just had to get this DVD, and let me tell you, it wasnt easy to find.
The DVD is divided into a few sections:
You can click on any of the 3 album covers (Elephunk, Behind the front, or bridging the gap) on the main menu to view all of those videos, click Play all videos to play videos from all 3 albums, Jukebox Feature (I believe this is "Random"), or access bonus features.
The video listing includes:
BEHIND THE FRONT
* Fallin Up
* Joints & Jams
* Karma
* What it is
* Head bob's
BRIDGING THE GAP
* B.E.P. Empire
* Weekends
* Get Original
* Request line
ELEPHUNK
* Let's get retarded (Live)
* Hey Mama
* Shut up
* Where is the love
I listened to this DVD and enjoyed most of the videos (Some were a little too hip-hop for me since I'm into their newer more "poppy" songs, But I know a lot of fans really enjoy their older music a lot more and would love those songs).
My favorites by far are
Lets Get Retarded (Recorded at the big day out festival and is a great performance), Hey mama, Shut Up, Where is the Love, and Request Line. I would have really liked to see their latest video, Lets get it started, on this DVD though.
The video quality throughout is good, same for the sound, although its only in Stereo and not digital sound.
Regardless of that, it's a great package.
Onto the bonus features, it has a lot to offer
DISCOVER HIP HOP (a 10 minute mockumentary of TV Commercials)
MAKING OF WHERE IS THE LOVE (4:00)
MAKING OF SHUT UP (4:00)
MAKING OF HEY MAMA (4:00)
SHUT UP - LIVE (3:30)
BOOGIE THAT BE (5:15)
PHOTO GALLERY (0:45)
and an option to play all.
Overall, this is a real well made DVD, it's more suites for long-time fans though.
Overall, if you're one, it IS indeed worth the hefty price and long wait period it might take to find this DVD. Highly recommended.
It includes some older videos of the group plus shut up, hey mama and where is the love, and they are all awsome. But, too bad thet it does not inlcudes the real video from "lets get retarded". Instead of that they included a live performance that was O.K., but not for the set. I was expecting the real thing. It was good anyway.
