Bizzy Bone Album: “Live in Concert”

I knew I would not like most if it because I hate watching live performances, but I bought for the behind the scenes and when Bizzy raps he is being funny, and that is pretty cool. I do not know the two dorky dudes with him are but they are annoying. and the behind the scenes should of been easier to find it is just put in randomly and not able to get to by scene selection, but I love Bizzy's music so it was worth buying.

I just have to say that i am a long time Bone fan and my favorite mc in Bone is Bizzy. So i got this DVD with hopes that they would show Bizzy ripping the heck out the mic and well i was not disappointed except for a few things. Heres the Pros and Cons of it all.

Cons

This is more of a bootleg style dvd like with hand held cameras and what not. The sequences are slightly off when panning from one show to the next for one song. The sound is good but there are times when it sounds like they tried to put the album version of the song mixed with the live version which can be trying to watch. And the structure of the video is like heres concert and heres studio and back and foreward so theres not much of a structure.

Pros

I really dig the setlist in the video and the songs that dont have what i said in the cons section. I love to hear Bizzy just rip it up and really do that rapid tongue spitting. The freestyles were cool just seeing Bizzy go off the dome was great cuz he has a weird mind and goes all over the place.The sound over all was real good.

Okay so with all that aside i give this a 3. Its not the best but its not the worse either. I think they should have had an alittle more pro video equipment and crew. I really think that would have brought out his performance a little more. We see Bizzy doing these small clubs around Cleveland and spittin "knowledge" that only bizzy knows which is also a treat cuz it'll make you laugh. This is a good effort to give fans a glimpse of what bizzy Bone is live with the budget he can work with not the big Bone Thugs budget. I really like the intensity that Bizzy can bring and the soulfull singing in one show. I think they should have done a full length promo on the tour he did where he had the 2 keyboards and a drummer that was flipping awesome cuz his true voice carried. If you are a Bizzy Fan you will like this but it could have been a little better but its tight for what it is.

I think Bizzy had no idea that this film or movie, or whatever you want to call it, was being made or released. Don't get me wrong, the songs are good, but the layout of the movie is just not worth the money. Unless you are a big time Bizzy Bone fan, this movie is not for you.

Who wants to watch images of crosses zoom across the screen? What is that? Looks rank amateur. THey got inaccurate lyrics typed while dude is rapping like if you like Bizzy you dont know the lyrics. Whos great idea was it to call flesh FLESH OF BONE? whoever filmed this dont know bone or bizzy. THey look like a bunch no names hanging on dude. The extra footage is again a no name from ohio not bizzy. It goes back and forth from two shows and shows what looks like bizzy drunk doin a freestyle or dude can't rap no more.
