- Another 4.5 star album from Noyd

Big Noyd returns yet again with another great 4.5 atar album. Like most I would think, I was introduced to Noyd on Mobb Deep's "The Infamous" in 1995 (he was on their "Juvenile Hell" album from 1993 but not many have heard that one), and then a year later Noyd dropped his debut, a tight 4.5 star, 8 song EP. Then it took 7 years for him to drop another album, and since 2003 Noyd has dropped 5 albums, all 4 or 4.5 stars. Like most of his album, this is short, 14 songs, barely 40 minutes with alot of 2 verse 3 minutes or less songs. Two of the songs are also on his "Co-Defendants" album that dropped in the summer of 2007. Of the 14, 3 are ok, the other 11 are good, most being real good but no classics on here. Like always he spits some hood/street tales that he does so well. Guest rap on 3 songs and do the chorus on acouple others. Production is tight as well. Rick Rude & Fizzy Womack of M.O.P each do 4 songs, Prince & Machiavelli do 2, Sebb, DJ Skizz, Blessiol, and Street Radio each do 1 song. A must have album for fans of real street hip-hop.

#1 - 8.5 (nice beat -- also on his "Co-Defendants" album)

#2 - 8

#3 - 8 (f/ Serani)

#4 - 9 (tight beat)

#5 - 7 (very annoying hook)

#6 - 8.5 (f/ Kira -- about his days growing up)

#7 - 9 (tight beat)

#8 - 8.5 (f/ Jay Rush)

#9 - 8.5 (f/ Joell Ortiz)

#10 - 8.5 (f/ Rick Rude -- nic ebeat)

#11 - 8.5 (f/ 40 Glocc & BAM -- good beat)

#12 - 7.5

#13 - 9 (nice beat)

#14 - 7.5 (also on his "Co-Defendants" album)

- Strong Album

I'm definitely feelin' this album. Rapper Noyd comes strong on this one with nice beats and gritty ghetto tales. It's a little reminiscent of "Episodes of A Hustler" (which was a classic) with a little bit of a new sound. "Things Done Changed" was one of my favorite joints on here. We needed this one!!!
