This guy is the Michael Jordan of rap--he has no weaknesses. In fact, the only thing I can criticize about this single is the production. Roc Raida could have done better, but having to produce a track to match the tempo of previously recorded lyrics isn't easy and Raida does nice job. And Mike Heron could have made my head nod a little more, but i like the scratchin (reminiscent of something Primo would do). But I'm just nitpicking, because Rawkus made it so difficult to find flaws here.
As far as the lyrics are concerned, Big L could kick rhymes over a toe tap and make it sound phenomenal. His style is similar to what you would hear from Nas, AZ, Jay-Z and Biggie early in their careers--raw lyrical precision. ....I can't wait for the LP. R.I.P. Big L
Instant classic made by one of the greatest emcee's to ever touch a mic! Big L! his wordplay and flow is simply just incredible, i never heard nothing like this. - 5/5
