- Took off her pants, you know what I saw!

Totally funked out. All Beastie material is great but this one might be their crowning achievment. Impossible to make today because of the silly sampling laws, PB is a zany, drug induced journey through the lives and minds of three bad brothers you know so well. Produced by the DUST BROTHERS in 1989, this album is so far ahead of its time that the rest of the world still hasn't caught up yet. I have owned the album for a long time and I still catch a new lyric every now and again. The samples are endless and genious. Everything from Curtis Mayfield to the Beatles. Maybe the best party CD ever; just throw it in (drop a little science) and get this mother crunk. The final track on the CD is a combination of 10 cuts the boys came up with and lasts about fifteen minutes. Absolutely brilliant all the way around. I gotta bounce cause I'm long distace with my girl and Im talkin' on the cellular, she said that she was sorry and I said Yeah the hell you were! Peace, GET THE RECORD!

- Paul's will make you want to shave your MULLET!!

From a totally devoted fan (since the days where they wouldnt allow us to play fight for your right at our 4th grade dance) Pauls cannot and will not ever be topped as the beasties BEST record ever produced. To some up the influence the beasties have on the music world, the modern day 70's funk revival of yesterday (pauls boutique & ill comm.), and the 80's rap revival of today(hello nasty) was all started off by the beastie boys. the real trend setters. to some up this boring review, Ive had this cd in my car player for 4 straight months and am not sick of it yet....my girlfriend complains though.

- excellent

a PERFECT album in everyway, there was no way they could have improved upon it...check your head and ill communication are still better though because of their diversity...a MUST BUY!

- Ahead Of Its Time

The title says it all. This album sounds like it could have been released a couple years ago...Not 15 years!! God, I graduated high school when this came out... Its tough to pick a favorite BB song...Or even album. They are all great. Even the b sides to the singles, like "Boomin Granny", "Honky Rink" and "The Vibes". Cant wait for the new album dedicated to my home, NYC. Shout out to the Upper West Side of Manhattan! You can take the man out Manhattan, but you cant Manhattan out of the man...Philly's OK, but it'll never be home. Again, way ahead of its time.
